Our Character & Leadership Development programs strive to provide members with the skills necessary to create a successful future. These programs encourage young people to support their Club and community while building & sustaining healthy relationships with others, developing positive self-image through good character, and respecting other cultural identities.
The Torch Club is a leadership and service club for boys and girls aged 11 to 13 who work together to implement activities in 4 areas:
1. Service to the Club and community
2. Education
3. Health and fitness
4. Social recreation
The Keystone Club affords teens the opportunity to gain valuable leadership and service experience through activities in 3 areas:
1. Academic success
2. Career exploration
3. Community service
Mentoring at the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Waterbury provides caring mentors to young community members. These mentors provide emotional support, counsel, friendship, guidance and reinforcement to males in grades 7 – 12.
